• ASHANTI LOCKING COLLAR: Luxurious gold-filled wire is hand twisted to give this collar an incredible texture that make it very strokeable. Accented with wire wraps that add more texture and dimension. Created to wear locked or with a hand crafted clasp for total discretion. A couple of links in the back make this collar a bit adjustable for comfort, sleep and other 'activities'.
• THE CÉLESTES SLIDE: with a heavy Art Deco influece, this beauty is created with Sterling and Bronze, features stars and sun. We've placed it on a hand crafted gold filled oval ring that fits the collar, so the piece can effortlessly be added or removed. {The slide can be worn on other chains and collars as well}.
• LOCKING GOLD PLATED CHAIN: 20-inch so it can be stacked under the collar. We've used gold-plated to keep the cost down, but if you'd prefer gold-filled, contact me. {Chains may vary according to availability, but should be similar to the one shown}. Leave a message during checkout if you'd prefer a different length.
• PADLOCK w/ KEYS: Plated Heart Shaped padlock with 2 keys

CHOOSE YOUR COLLAR SIZE
Be sure to choose your size from the drop-down menu. This collar is made to lie at the base of the throat/neck. Measure at the base of throat, placing your fingertip under the tape measure, or add up to 1/2 inch for safety and comfort. The collar size included the lock/clasp.

ABOUT WIRE WRAPPED JEWELRY

Wire wrapping is one of the oldest techniques known for crafting handcrafted jewelry. Researchers have found elements of wire wrapped designs in jewelry, breast plate decorations, shields, etc. in ancient pharaohs' tombs and pyramids in Egypt, although there is some evidence that dates wire wrapped jewelry back as far as 1446 B.C.

The concept of this art is to take wire to form the shape, or foundation, of the jewelry, and use the wire itself to wrap around the pieces to hold the structure together. It's always done with only a few basic hand tools. Never any soldering, machines or epoxies. 

At My Secret Heart Studios, our goal is to create pieces that you won't find anywhere else, because you deserve to be unique. We specialize in this ancient craft, and we create pieces with a luxurious and contemporary flair, using todays precious metals of sterling silver, 14k gold filled and rose gold.
