CAN THE COLLARS BE WORN 24/7?
Sterling silver and 14k gold-filled collars can stand up beautifully for 24/7 wear and can endure everyday abuse such as showers, sweat, etc. Just rinse and dry it thoroughly afterward.

Do try to avoid harsh chemicals, but soap and shampoo, lotions, etc. are okay, but rinse well and dry when possible, and try not to spray perfumes directly on the collar. Also, we would not recommend swimming in chlorinated pools, at least not for extended periods of time.

PLEASE NOTE:  Locks will usually begin to rust after long term exposure to water and chemicals. So please check locks often to make sure they are still functional. You can apply machine oil or WD40 to the inside to help keep the locking working and prevent rust.

HOW DO I CREATE A CUSTOM DESIGN?
I only take a few custom orders at a time, and it that be determined by my current work load and productions times.

I don't consider a request for a different color, stone, etc. as a 'custom design, you can just message me and request that anytime.

Jewelry in the D/s lifestyle is extremely personal and symbolic. I encourage you to design your own jewelry for Your submissive or your Dominant by choosing your own mix of metals, gemstones or personalized accessories. I love taking your vision and making it a reality.

We can go over details and materials until your design comes to life. Then, the magic happens ... I create your custom design and it will be yours, and yours alone. You can contact us thru the contact form below.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JEWELRY?
If your jewelry tarnishes, you can use a jeweler's cloth to bring back the luster, or buff it with a soft, old tee shirt. You can purchase a SUNSHINE CLOTH, it has jeweler's rouge embedded in it. It's perfect to renew the shine. Get one here.

HOW DO I MEASURE FOR A LOCKING COLLAR?
Most listings tell you where to measure for a specific collar design. Collars are created to be the desired size when locked.

COLLAR THAT LIES IN THE CENTER OF THE THROAT
Measure at center of throat, placing your fingertip under the tape measure, or add up to 1/2 inch for safety and comfort.

FOR A COLLAR THAT LIES AT THE BASE OF THE THROAT
Measure at the base of the throat/neck area, placing your fingertip under the tape measure, or add up to 1/2 inch for safety and comfort.

IMPORTANTJewelry will be created to the specifications you give me. Please make sure the measurements are accurate. Some jewelry cannot be resized; enlarging requires making completely new pieces, which can be costly.

HOW DO I MEASURE FOR LOCKING CUFFS or BRACELETS?
Use a soft tape measure and measure at the wrist bone and add ½ inch for comfort and freedom of movement. The Cuffs/Bracelets are created to be the desired size when locked.

IMPORTANT: Jewelry will be created to the specifications you give me. Please make sure measurements are accurate. Some jewelry cannot be resized; enlarging requires making complete new pieces, which can be costly.

If you need a size not shown, contact me.

WHAT DO I DO IF MY COLLAR NEEDS TO BE RESIZED?
I know how important your collar is to you and yours, and it must fit properly and safely. If you need resizing for your collar, and it’s due to an error on my part, of course, I will gladly resize or remake your collar at no charge to you.

Some resizing is as simple as cutting, filing and re-finishing, but many times, a resizing will require me to make you a completely new collar.

New collars are needed when your collar must be enlarged, or if your collar has wire wrapped accents that are measured and strategically spaced. The pricing is to cover labor and the cost of more silver and gold.

Once you determine you need resizing, PLEASE GO HERE to complete a quick form and send with your order. I've received resizing orders with no return address, no notes, no nothing! I've had to wait until someone contacts me again before I know what I'm supposed to do. I receive messages thru my website, Etsy, Instagram, Facebook, gmail, Amazon and more, and it's almost impossible to find a message sometimes.

Resizing usually takes 1-2 weeks from the time I receive your package. You will receive a tracking notice once I ship your collar back. Pricing subject to change at any time due to fluctuating metal prices). I’m sorry, but we cannot resize custom engraved jewelry.

WHAT IS GOLD-FILLED JEWELRY?
Gold Filled Jewelry has an actual layer of real gold, pressure bonded to core metal, usually brass. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as gold filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant. It is also safe for those with metal allergies.

While gold-filled jewelry is typically less expensive than solid gold jewelry, it is actually more durable, looking shiny and new even with decades of wear.

DURABILITY: Despite gold’s desirable properties, it does have one significant drawback: softness. This means it wears out easily and can be too weak for jewelry to stand up to daily wear and tear. However, mixing gold with other metals creates gold alloy that are stronger, more durable, and better suited for jewelry use. While jewelers do use pure gold for some jewelry pieces, these dent and show wear so readily that most people don’t wear pure gold jewelry on a daily basis.
