Locking Jump Ring for Collars, Cuffs and Chains. Devotees of our product will appreciate the "Click & Lock" feature of this jump ring, allowing for a secure and simple closure without the need for any soldering. Considered a permanent lock, you will have to cut the ring to remove. 10mm Round, 14 gauge Sterling Silver.
PLEASE NOTE: This ring does not work well going thru the solid metal loops of wider collars such as our Soft and Sweet designs. The ring needs to fit through small links of chain.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: To prevent any damage to the metal, we highly recommend using Nylon Flat Jaw Pliers to hold the jump ring. While securely gripping both sides of the ring, gently twist one end upwards and the other end downwards. Attach through the links of the collar, chain or cuff. To secure the ring, simply twist it in the opposite direction as before, ensuring the two ends of the ring pass each other. Gently press inwards while twisting the jump ring closed until the two ends touch, and you will hear a satisfying click indicating that the ring is now locked in place.
