So, i got this for my /s as she is blind so i tend to spoil here with tactile BDSM gear, even her day collar, which this was replacing has braille on the back of my mark. Now, that said the ivy vines are gorgeous, and the general craftsmanship is nice. but there are some flaws i will go into below.
1.The weld or solder point on one end of the band for the chain is an ugly weld, with a notice gap, and the polishing for both linked areas is not perfect, as you can see tool and machine marks where the collar itself was cut from a large piece of metal.
2. the collar itself should be solid Stirling silver, as advertised on the website "This substantial, solid sterling silver collar is nice and thick, measuring 6.27 mm wide x 2.84 mm thick." however there are no proof markings marking it as sterling silver, nor is there a letter of authenticity for it, which makes adding the item to our insurance for it's future silver weight value nearly impossible. There should be the standard .925 marking somewhere on the band, if only for insurance reasons.
3. the main body of the collar, which i was expecting to be a mirror, or near mirror like polished surface, is actually a non-reflective, rough silver tumbled, the pictures are deceiving in this case. as you can clearly see some reflections in the studio photos, that are simply impossible with the finish i received this collar at.
Outside those issues, this collar is an amazing piece that i am proud to let my girl wear now and to have locked on her, and it's discreet enough to pass as a simple choker.
